Paddleboarding lessons owe their popularity to their suitability for groups, as well as the fact that they offer a great way to enjoy the water and get a full body workout at the same time. SUP is a highly accessible, fun and social way to enjoy your time on the water. Almost anyone can do it, no matter your age, skill or fitness level.

Learn how to Stand Up Paddleboard with our SUP Taster Session, during the 2 hour session our instructors will teach you all the stand up paddle boarding tips you need to get started, including how to prepare for paddle boarding, how to get on a paddleboard, balance exercises for stand up paddle boarding, and of course how to get back on a paddleboard after falling. This is suitable for 12yrs+
It will cover all of the fundamentals a brand new paddler needs to get started. From the absolute basics on week one, the types of kit and equipment a paddler needs to consider, a safety and rescue week where you will learn the fundamentals to keep yourself and your friends safe and finally more advanced paddle techniques and skills.
The course will give a new paddler the skills required to paddle on easy stretches of water (canals, inland water ways, non-graded slow-moving rivers, as part of a social group or easier guided trips. There are mixed groups and ladies only groups. 4 consecutive weekly sessions, 18yrs+
Want to diversities your SUPing experience, we offer SUP Yoga sessions for you to connect with yourself. During the sessions, you will be guided through an introduction to the paddle boards, a warm-up and an introduction on how yoga can be transferred onto the water.
Once you have completed one of our SUP Sessions - why not consider joining on one of our uncoached SUP Social Sessions via our 'Park & Play' option and join the local SUP community!
SUP Race Training is a meet up for like-minded paddleboarders who want to train together for fitness and/ or in preparation for racing. In winter training is on a Saturday morning and in summer training takes place on a Wednesday evening. For more information and booking can be found here.
We're excited to introduce our new Annual Flat Water Access Pass for just £50. This pass gives you access to our Retained Water Pool and River during CIWW opening hours, as well as full use of facilities and access to our SUP Social sessions on Wednesday evenings in the summer and Sunday mornings during the winter (excluding board/ paddle hire).
