Spring is in the air

2014 The year Ahead….

We have lots to report for 2014, but we thought we would start with some great events that have been confirmed.

White Water Fest – 6th of September  - Another year, another White Water Fest, a great range of water levels for all paddlers, come and try it sessions, fun races and Europe’s best paddling and lifestyle brands in the Canoe Village.

Urdd Sports Day – 6th July - The Urdd Games is an annual event which celebrates a range of sports, flat water racing and canoe slalom being two of them.   The event is held throughout the afternoon culminating in the Canoe Slalom early evening, it’s free to watch!

British Raft Race Series - 22 & 23 MARCH - This event returns after a one year absence, a great mix of raft slalom, head to head racing and enduro.  The event always brings a great festival atmosphere with teams from across the UK and Ireland.   Races run Saturday evening.

British Freestyle – 21st June - Another great event that returns this year from a short break.  An amazing display of what a paddler can do in a kayak.  The age group is varied so the opportunity to watch the British freestyle champions of the future!

High Ropes - The works for our new high ropes development starts this spring; OPENING SUMMER 2014.   Challenge yourself on the Burma Bridge, Zip across the raging white water and finish scaling the heights of the climbing Tower.

Activities – We still have some amazing activities and offers available for individuals and groups.   So keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter.

 Adventures – Every year a member of staff or group plan to spend their time off somewhere exotic.  This year is no exception with our very own Tom Sampson off to Alaska to climb Denali.  Tom will be keeping us informed throughout his training and his trip.
