EVENT OF THE YEAR!

It’s the big build up this year Paddle Fest, sorry, WHITE WATER FEST. Why the name change you ask? Well, we wanted to encompass the range of activities on offer including our new surf facility, so White Water Fest was created. Last year we played down the event due to building work and lack of space. It’s fully up and running this year with more space and more on offer. The event is for those who paddle those who don’t and those who would like to try. Doors open at 08:30 with our first water release at 09:00 for a cumec blast. We have the usual great and good of the kayaking and canoeing industry bring their demo boats and kit for all to try. We have the RNLI on hand to offer advice on staying safe at sea and loads of new features such as Bongo Balance Boards and more Stand up Paddling classes. In addition to the new features we also have paddling until 20:00 with food and music until late including the DJ Truck and The Blims. To wet your whistle if the white water wasn’t enough we also have the DOOM BAR on site. The event is free to enter but you will need to pay for come and try it sessions and getting afloat.
